Legend Senior Living is seeking a Transportation Assistant to join the Life Enrichment team. You will plan and implement resident activities, coordinate transportation to events, and support memory care components as assigned.

Qualifications

• Current, valid driver's license.
• Age 25 or older to meet company insurance requirements.
• Clean driving record to meet company insurance requirements.
• Willingness and ability to transport residents in company vehicles.
• Preferred: experience with seniors, event planning, lesson planning, demonstrated creative skills.
• Stand, walk, bend, push, pull and lift up to 50 lbs throughout shift.

Responsibilities

• Assisting with the planning and implementation of resident activities, to include calendar development, budgeting, coordinating with outside organizations, setup, and cleanup
• Helping to ensure activities meet the needs and preferences of residents
• Being willing to provide oversight of a specific life enrichment component (e.g. Memory Care, specific activity, etc.) as assigned
• Coordinating the transportation of residents to and from outside events to include driving company vehicle when needed
• Communicating effectively with residents and staff
• Adhering to company policies, procedures and safety guidelines
