Pleasant View Communities in Manheim, PA invites applications for a Healthcare Activities Assistant to lead recreational programs for our 34-bed LTC unit. You will monitor resident needs, complete clinical paperwork, and coordinate structured activities while assisting supervision and staff development.

Qualifications

• Dementia care experience is required.
• Desire to work with the senior population.
• Strong interpersonal skills with awareness for dignity, respect, compassion and safety.
• College degree or activity related certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implementation of recreational programs.
• Monitor resident needs, preferences, and attendance.
• Clinical Paperwork (care plans, assessments, progress notes).
• Calendar creation/prep and implementation of structured activities for a 34 bed LTC unit.
• Assist with supervision, training, and overseeing activity staff.
