Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years of experience in activities programming, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related field.
• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift and carry activity supplies up to 25 pounds.
• Able to accompany residents on outings and participate in activities.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required for special events.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate and implement a comprehensive activities program that promotes residents' well-being.
• Engage residents physically, emotionally, socially, cognitively and spiritually.
• Ensure programming aligns with the community's mission and regulatory requirements.
• Provide meaningful engagement opportunities and oversee scheduling of events.
• Respond effectively during emergencies.
