Osage Nation Health Center in Hominy, OK, seeks an Assisted Living Activities & Programming Manager to develop, coordinate, and implement a comprehensive activities program that promotes residents' physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual well-being.

You will ensure meaningful engagement opportunities, support regulatory requirements, and lead a team to create engaging events, outings, and daily programs while collaborating with care staff.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• 2+ years in activities programming, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related field.
• Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry activity supplies up to 25 pounds.
• Willing to accompany residents on outings and participate in activities.
• Evenings, weekends, and holidays may be required for special events.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; supervisory experience preferred; experience with older adults preferred.
• NCCAP certification and CTRS credentials are preferred.
• BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire; valid driver's license may be required.

The Assisted Living Activities & Programming Manager is responsible for developing, coordinating, and implementing a comprehensive activities program that promotes residents' physical, emotional, social, cognitive, and spiritual well-being. This position ensures meaningful engagement opportunities that enhance quality of life while supporting the community's mission and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications: Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• 2 or more years of experience in activities programming, senior living, healthcare, hospitality, or related field.
• Willing and able to stand, walk, bend, lift, and carry activity supplies up to 25 pounds.
• Willing and able to accompany residents on outings and participate in activities.

General Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Recreation Therapy, Therapeutic Recreation, Gerontology, Social Work, Hospitality, Recreation Management, or a related field preferred.
• Supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience working with older adults, including those with memory impairment, preferred.
• National Certification Council for Activity Professionals (NCCAP) certification.
• Certified Therapeutic Recreation Specialist (CTRS).
• Strong leadership and organizational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Creativity and enthusiasm for program development.
• Knowledge of aging, dementia care, and resident engagement strategies.
• Ability to manage multiple projects and events simultaneously.
• Ability to respond effectively during emergencies.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and activity scheduling software.
• BLS certification or obtain within 90 days of hire
• Must be able to pass a criminal background check
• Must be able to pass drug/alcohol testing
• Must have a valid driver’s license and clean driving record - may be required to drive GSA or Nation vehicles
