Job summary

Sunrise Senior Living in Issaquah, WA is seeking an Activities Assistant to help lead daily activities, events, and enrichment programs, escort residents, and maintain organized spaces. You will support volunteer engagement and contribute to resident well-being and community connections.

The role requires a High School Diploma or GED, strong communication, ability to lead small groups, and a valid driver’s license where applicable.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED is required
• Strong communication and organizational skills are essential
• Ability to lead small group activities with residents
• Valid driver’s license where applicable
• Senior living experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Lead daily activities, events, and enrichment programs
• Escort residents to and from activities as needed
• Assist in creating activity calendars and newsletters
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships
• Document participation according to regulatory guidelines
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes as needed
