Job summary

Freedom Village at Brandywine is seeking a dedicated Life Enrichment Coordinator (full-time or part-time) to plan, schedule, and coordinate meaningful activities for residents, enhancing their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

You will engage residents across Memory Care, Skilled Nursing, and Personal Care, collaborating with the Activities Team to deliver enriching programs throughout the community.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Associate's degree is preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities/life enrichment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with planning, coordinating activities: reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outside trips, special events, and one-to-one visits, as indicated.
• Promote a healthy community culture for all residents and employees.
• Provide individual and group educational opportunities for residents and staff in the area of disease prevention and management in the holistic spirit of the Lifestyle and Health Services Wellness Program.
• Lead daily resident activities per our Community standards.
• Assist with preparing and distributing monthly calendars according to the Community standards.
• Plan and execute diverse and engaging programs to meet the needs of a diverse resident population including newly retired seniors seeking a carefree lifestyle, seniors in need of physical assistance, and seniors in varying stages of memory loss.
