Job summary

Westminster Village North is seeking a Life Enrichment Associate to contribute to resident care planning and deliver an engaging activity calendar. The role supports the delivery of enriching programs and events for residents in a caring community.

The position emphasizes teamwork, compassion, and creating an outstanding guest experience while coordinating events, scheduling transportation, and ensuring residents’ participation in activities.

Qualifications

• Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing.
• Basic computer-related skills and ability to learn to operate office and AV equipment.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to written assessments, care plans and document progress for each resident.
• Assist with developing the monthly calendar including daily evening, holiday and weekend events.
• Assist in planning programs including educational, entertainment, spiritual and physical activities.
• Post activity reminders to encourage participation.
• Decorate areas for events and assist residents with event prep and cleanup.
• Coordinate transportation of residents to outside programs, events or appointments.
• Maintain stimulating activities and supplies for residents who participate independently.
• Manage problems with difficult or disturbed residents, family or sponsors.
