Carriage Crossing Senior Living of Champaign in Champaign, IL seeks a full-time Activities Coordinator to lead and grow our resident activity program. You will design engaging social and recreational activities, drive the community transportation program, and mentor a team to ensure high participation and safety.

You’ll manage calendars, budgets, and communications to reflect our care values of love, compassion, and dignity while coordinating with residents and staff to meet diverse needs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Minimum age 21 or older.
• Experience in activities/life enrichment in healthcare.
• Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
• Proven leadership, mentoring and motivational skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.

Responsibilities

• Lead the Activity team and guide residents through events.
• Design and facilitate recreational and social programs engaging residents, families, staff, and community.
• Create monthly activities calendar tailored to residents' abilities and document participation.
• Oversee budget, equipment inventory, and cost-effective activities program.
• Manage Community transportation program, including driving the company van.
• Coordinate Resident Council to drive empowerment and engagement.
• Assess program impact and adjust to evolving resident needs.
• Coordinate Community newsletter reflecting mission and core values.
