Merrill Gardens at Bankers Hill is hiring an Active Living Assistant/Driver to support residents through engaging activities and compassionate care within a welcoming community. This full-time role emphasizes program design, activity delivery, and fostering a respectful, dignified living environment for seniors.

Qualifications

• High School diploma required; College Degree or equivalent preferred.
• One to two years related experience, training, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Prefer social activity involvement.
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Design and implement activity programs for residents.
• Deliver, lead, or conduct activities in a timely and engaging manner.
• Coordinate at least one family activity per month.
• Present a professional demeanor reflecting the service philosophy.
• Familiarize yourself with residents and observe daily needs.
• Monitor ADLs and social skills; report concerns to the team.
• Encourage and motivate residents; participate in employer training.
• Cover activities staff in their absence.
