Job summary

Midwest Health Inc. is seeking an Activities Director to plan and implement a resident-centered activity program that enhances physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being.

You will create monthly calendars, coordinate volunteers, liaise with staff, and ensure documentation meets state and federal requirements. Strong communication and preferred Activity Director certification are valued, with on-site work in Belmont, Kansas.

Qualifications

• Must have basic computer skills.
• Activity Director certification, preferred.
• Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English.

Responsibilities

• Plan and implement activities to meet residents' physical, mental and psychosocial needs.
• Create monthly activity calendar.
• Maintain documentation as required by State and Federal regulations.
• Input on Minimum Data Set, participation in plan of care and other assessments/updates.
• Coordinate recruitment, retention and involvement of volunteers with residents.
• Coordinate community involvement in the Facility.
• Plan staff functions and activities to increase staff morale.
• Monitor compliance with regulations including safety and infection control.
