Job summary

Fellowship Square is seeking an Activities Director to design and oversee social, educational, and recreational programs enriching residents' well-being. You will lead a team including staff, volunteers, and drivers, collaborating with Memory Support Engagers.

The role requires 5+ years in senior activities, exceptional communication, and strong leadership. Proficiency with basic design/word processing software is expected, with a valid driver’s license to support transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred; experience in senior care may substitute.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with senior activities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Compassionate, energetic, and self-directed.

Responsibilities

• Design and oversee a diverse range of social, educational, and recreational programs for residents.
• Lead a team of support staff, volunteers, and drivers.
• Prepare resident activity assessments to tailor programs to interests.
• Supervise activities support staff, drivers, and volunteers.
• Design monthly newsletters and calendars for Assisted Living and Memory Support.
• Plan and promote community events, seminars, and special celebrations.
• Ensure safe and efficient use of spaces, equipment, and transportation.
• Maintain budget oversight and track department expenditures.
• Keep residents informed and engaged through posters, bulletin boards, and digital communications.
• Serve as a shining example of Fellowship Square's values and mission.
