Job summary

Fellowship Square is seeking an Activities Director to bring energy, creativity, and compassion to our vibrant senior living community. You will design and oversee a diverse range of social, educational, and recreational programs that support residents’ well-being and engagement.

The role requires a minimum of 5 years working with senior activities, strong leadership, and excellent communication skills, with a driver’s license for transportation needs.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree preferred; senior care experience may substitute.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience working with senior activities.
• Excellent verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Strong leadership and organizational abilities.
• Compassionate, energetic, and self-directed.
• Tech-savvy and capable of using basic design or word processing software for newsletters/calendars.

Responsibilities

• Lead and coordinate all activity programs for Independent Living residents, including off-site events.
• Prepare resident activity assessments to tailor programs to their interests.
• Supervise activities support staff, drivers, and volunteers.
• Design monthly newsletters and calendars for Independent Living residents.
• Plan and promote community events, seminars, and special celebrations.
• Ensure the safe and efficient use of spaces, equipment, and transportation.
• Maintain budget oversight and track department expenditures.
• Keep residents informed and engaged through posters, bulletin boards, and digital communications.

About The Role

You will lead a team of support staff and volunteers to create an engaging experience for our residents.
