Qualifications

• Must be 25 years of age, or older.
• Employment is contingent upon successful completion of all background screening requirements permitted by applicable federal, state, and local law.
• Must have a valid driver license and clean driving record.
• Must read, write, speak, and understand English.
• Must demonstrate professionalism, empathy, patience, and effective interpersonal skills when interacting with residents, families, visitors, and team members.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and promote a dynamic Activities Program that encourages resident participation, socialization, and overall well-being.
• Plan a diverse calendar of social, cultural, educational, fitness, and recreational activities that appeal to independent, active adults
• Preparation of monthly community activity calendar and newsletter.
• Actively develop and implement a volunteer program for resident activities.
• Coordinate with caterers, entertainers, decorators and others for scheduled events.
• Organize and host on-site events, outings, and excursions; serve as chaperone when needed.
• Foster a welcoming environment that encourages resident-led clubs, groups, and initiatives.
• Collaborate with the marketing team to support community events and prospective resident experiences.
• Participate in tours, open houses, and leasing events when needed.
• Plan and coordinate seasonal décor and special event decorations to enhance the community environment.
• Manage programming within an approved budget.
• Community Leadership & Emergency Response: Expected to serve as essential leadership personnel during inclement weather and emergency protocols.
• Serve as Manager-on-Duty during assigned weekends.
• Required to work weekends to support and participate in scheduled events and activities.
• Drive residents to activities or outings and act as a chaperone during these events.
• Help residents when off site by lifting items, assist with shopping needs and ensure safety of residents while off site.
• Conduct yourself professionally and contribute to, service-oriented environment through their appearance, communication, and interactions with residents, families, visitors, and colleagues.
• Any other tasks, assignments, projects or requests as deemed by management.
