Job summary

Complete Care is seeking an experienced Activity Director to lead recreational programs for residents. You will plan activities that promote socialization, creativity, and wellbeing, and help create a welcoming home-like atmosphere.

Role requires a Bachelor’s degree or certification, ADC/CDP/CTRS credentials, and at least 2 years in long-term care supervision. You’ll collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, manage calendars, and support budgets to enrich residents’ daily lives.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or Certification completion.
• Must possess an ADC, CDP, or CTRS.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in long-term care as a supervisor.
• Ability to communicate effectively with a multi-disciplinary team.
• Computer knowledge.
• Ability to manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Communicate effectively with the multi-disciplinary team.
• Develop care plans and monitoring systems, and complete documentation.
• Know Quality Assurance programs, State survey processes, Residents’ Rights.
• Supervise the Recreation Department personnel.
• Create, plan, and implement monthly calendars and newsletters.
• Follow budgetary guidelines for the department.
