Job summary

Homestead of Oskaloosa seeks a dedicated Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and implement engaging activities for our senior community. You will organize large and small group events and individual participation to meet residents' interests and needs.

Under supervision of the Executive Director, you will prepare monthly calendars, newsletters, and keep the activity boards updated while supporting a friendly, resident-centered environment.

Qualifications

• Plan activities to meet resident’s specific needs, to include large group, small group, and individual participation as scheduled.
• Compose monthly contributions, including the monthly Activities calendar, pass out newsletter, post daily contributions on menu board, date board and pass out name tags.
• Plant and pet care.
• Participate in Department in-service training.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities to meet residents' needs across groups and individuals.
• Prepare and share monthly activity calendar and newsletters.
• Assist with plant and pet care within the community.
• Attend and participate in department trainings and in-services.
