Job summary

Homestead of Oskaloosa is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan events and activities for our community of active seniors. You will design engaging programs, schedule large and small group activities, and create monthly calendars and newsletters to enhance resident life.

Under the supervision of the Executive Director, you will participate in in-service training, contribute to the menu and activity boards, and support a caring, employee-friendly environment with plenty of opportunities

Responsibilities

• Plan activities to meet residents' needs, including large group, small group, and individual participation as scheduled.
• Compose monthly contributions, including the monthly Activities calendar, pass out newsletter, post daily contributions on menu board, date board and pass out name tags.
• Plant and pet care.
• Participate in Department in-service training.
