Job summary

Homestead of Oskaloosa is seeking a Life Enrichment Coordinator to plan and coordinate engaging activities for our senior residents. You will design a calendar of events, manage monthly communications, and support pet and plant care within the community.

The role involves working under supervision to ensure activities meet individual needs, while coordinating group and one-on-one participation. Training and collaboration with the department are expected as part of ongoing staff development.

Responsibilities

• Plan activities to meet resident’s specific needs, to include large group, small group, and individual participation as scheduled.
• Compose monthly contributions, including the monthly Activities calendar, pass out newsletter, post daily contributions on menu board, date board and pass out name tags.
• Plant and Pet care.
• Participate in Department in-service training.
