Job summary

Cascadia Healthcare is seeking an Activities Manager for our Kruse Way Post Acute facility in Lake Oswego, OR. You will design and lead engaging, person-centered activity programs to enhance residents’ physical, social, and cognitive well-being, while coordinating with clinical and support teams.

You will supervise staff, manage budgets, and ensure documentation compliance, with a focus on resident dignity, choice, and community engagement.

Qualifications

• BS in Recreation Therapy or related field preferred.
• Certified Recreation Therapist or OTA or ACT Director required/licensed.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Experience in long-term care preferred.
• One year in patient health care setting required.

Responsibilities

• Develop meaningful, person-centered activity programs.
• Maintain a diverse activities calendar for socialization and recreation.
• Coordinate guest speakers, entertainers, and community events.
• Document MDS, care plans, and activity records.
• Collaborate with nursing, therapy, social services, dietary and other departments.
• Supervise Activity Assistants when applicable.
• Manage department budget and supplies.
• Support resident and family councils and gather feedback.
