Job summary

Myrtle Beach Manor is seeking an Assistant Program and Outreach Director (Activities Assistant) to join our team. You will help deliver resident-centered activities and promote wellness across emotional, social, physical, intellectual, and spiritual dimensions.

Reporting to the Program and Outreach Director, you will lead activities, coordinate volunteers, and support life enrichment programs in a senior living community.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma required; experience in senior living preferred.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and staff.
• Knowledge of Assisted Living and dementia care is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate and facilitate a variety of activities across wellness dimensions.
• Document resident participation and changes in condition.
• Assist with moving residents to activity rooms and support staff.
• Maintain orderly activity areas and manage supplies.
• Support care teams with animal/plant care records as applicable.
• Engage residents in life skills and enrichment activities.
