Job summary

Encore at Wilmington is seeking a Full-Time Lifestyles Assistant to support the Life Enrichment team in planning and coordinating meaningful activities for residents. You’ll help create engaging programs that support physical, mental, and social well-being, while ensuring activities are well presented by staff.

The role involves planning, coordinating events, and tracking participation, with emphasis on a holistic, person-centered approach and a culture of wellness across eight dimensions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Associate’s degree preferred.
• Six (6) months experience working with seniors in activities preferred.
• Must possess a valid driver’s license as per state laws.
• Willingness to be available for emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Director of Life Enrichment with planning, scheduling, and coordinating resident activities.
• Lead daily resident activities per community standards.
• Assist in planning a balanced activity program across wellness dimensions.
• Prepare and distribute monthly calendars and program contents.
• Support staff training and maintain activity materials.
