Job summary

Holiday Rehabilitation and Healthcare Center, a 170-bed Sub-Acute and Long-Term Care facility, is seeking an Activities Assistant to create engaging, resident-centered programs and foster a welcoming community.

Part-time position with every other weekend schedule and daily pay. Responsibilities include supporting activities, documenting participation, coordinating events, and collaborating with the care team to enrich residents' lives.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• One year of experience in an Activities Department or healthcare setting preferred.
• Experience working with seniors is highly desirable.

Responsibilities

• Create a welcoming, engaging, and positive environment for residents.
• Document resident participation and engagement in activities.
• Promote residents' social, physical, emotional, and intellectual well-being through activities.
• Plan, develop, organize, and implement recreational and community programs.
• Build relationships with residents and encourage participation based on interests.
