Job summary

Harmony Senior Services in Roanoke, VA is seeking a Life Enrichment Activities Assistant to support the Life Enrichment Director in designing and implementing diverse recreational and educational programs for Independent Living and Assisted Living neighborhoods.

You will help plan monthly calendars, coordinate with the team, and promote resident participation while maintaining records and assisting transportation and setup for activities.

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and time management skills required.
• Flexible, imaginative and engaging approach with seniors.
• Experience organizing, conducting, and planning programs and activities.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing, planning and implementing a monthly activity program based on Harmony signature programs and resident interests.
• Lead 6-7 high quality programs per day.
• Support in surveying residents to determine interests and satisfaction with activities.
