Job summary

Cornerstone Management in Appleton, WI seeks a creative Activities Coordinator to plan and lead programs supporting residents’ physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being. This hands-on role focuses on meaningful engagement in a senior living community.

You will design diverse activities, coordinate trips, holidays, and events; collaborate with staff; prepare calendars and newsletters; and provide compassionate, resident-centered care in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college preferred.
• Experience planning and running activities, preferably in senior living.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement resident activities, events, trips, and celebrations.
• Encourage resident participation and create opportunities for talents and interests.
• Plan programs around holidays and meaningful occasions; collaborate across departments.
• Prepare a monthly activity calendar and community newsletter.
• Transport residents to outings and errands using the community van/bus; coordinate schedules.
• Maintain a welcoming environment and foster strong resident relationships.
• Support marketing events, open houses, and tours as needed.
• Assist with administrative duties, emergency calls, and front desk support.
