Job summary

Cornerstone Management is seeking a creative, energetic Activities Coordinator to plan and lead engaging programs for our senior living community. This hands-on role focuses on physical, social, intellectual, and spiritual well-being, with opportunities to impact residents daily.

Responsibilities include developing calendars, coordinating events, driving residents to outings, and collaborating across teams to ensure a resident-centered environment. Equal opportunity employer.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; some college or relevant training preferred.
• Previous experience planning and running activities, preferably in a senior living setting.
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills.
• Comfort working with older adults and understanding their interests and needs.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office or similar software.
• MN Commercial Driver’s License with passenger endorsement required.
• Friendly, compassionate, and enthusiastic approach to resident engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop, coordinate, and implement a variety of resident activities, events, trips, and celebrations.
• Encourage resident participation and create opportunities for them to share their talents and interests.
• Plan special programs around holidays and other meaningful occasions.
• Communicate and collaborate with staff across departments to coordinate events.
• Prepare a monthly activity calendar and community newsletter.
• Drive residents to scheduled outings, appointments, and errands in the community van/bus.
• Coordinate transportation needs and maintain activity schedules.
• Maintain a positive, welcoming environment and foster strong resident relationships.
• Support marketing events, open houses, and tours as needed.
• Assist with administrative duties, emergency calls, and occasional front desk support.
