The Birches of Lehigh Valley in Wisconsin is seeking a full-time Activity Assistant for the Day Shift to join a compassionate team dedicated to enriching the lives of seniors. In this role you will plan and facilitate a variety of group and individual activities, support volunteer programs, and help arrange transportation and escorts for residents to external events.

Qualifications

• A desire to contribute to a positive atmosphere in the community for residents, family & friends, and all team members.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English; both oral and written.
• Ability to work every other weekend.

Responsibilities

• Assist with planning and providing a variety of active and passive, group and individual activities which enhance the residents' mental, physical, spiritual, and social needs.
• Assist with maintaining and expanding Volunteer Programs.
• Arrange transportation and escorts for residents to activities.
