Job summary

Cornerstone Texarkana is seeking an enthusiastic Activities Coordinator to lead wellness and social programs for residents. You will plan outings, events, and activities, fostering engagement and meaningful connections in a warm senior-living environment.

The role requires a passion for elder care, two years of relevant experience, and certification in National Activity Profession. Schedule is Monday through Friday, 8am–5pm, with opportunities to build relationships and create memorable

Qualifications

• Certified with National Activity Professionals or ability to obtain certification upon hire.
• Two years experience in wellness and activity programs for senior adults, preferred.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate wellness and social activities for residents.
• Organize outings, games, and special events.

Never two days the same, the days will fly by going on road trips, having dance parties, making sushi rolls and yes sometimes playing cards and bingo. You will have the opportunity to develop close and meaningful relationships with some pretty fascinating folks –our residents—and feel the value that you bring each and every day.

Schedule/Hours

Monday-Friday 8am-5p working with our skilled nursing residents!
