ExcelCare At Wayne is seeking a Recreation Aide to organize and lead engaging activities for residents, enhancing social wellness and overall quality of life. You will foster a positive atmosphere and provide assistance to residents as needed.

In this role, you will coordinate games, crafts, music sessions, and group events, adapting programs to different abilities. You will help transport residents to activities and document participation for planning purposes.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required or preferred.
• Experience working with older adults in long-term care is a plus.
• Energetic and personable with strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsabilidades

• Organize and lead recreational activities such as games, crafts, music sessions, and group events.
• Encourage resident involvement and adapt programs to various ability levels.
• Assist with transporting residents to activities or outings.
• Promote a cheerful atmosphere supporting emotional and social well-being.
• Document participation and feedback to support program planning.
