Job summary

The Summit at Sunland Springs in Mesa, AZ is seeking an Activity Assistant to join a warm, resident-centered team. You will help maintain engaging activity programs, coordinate volunteers, and support social events for residents in assisted living and memory care settings.

Qualifications

• 1 year of related experience preferred in senior living or similar settings.
• Ability to lead activities and motivate volunteers and team members.
• Strong written and verbal communication and multitasking abilities.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a resident-centered activity program for the community.
• Review and document Daily Log and Department Log for resident changes and activity information.
• Uphold QA and quality service standards for enriching resident activities and programming.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local laws and quality standards for resident care.
• Collaborate with the team to achieve community goals.
