Sunrise Senior Living in Scottsdale, AZ is seeking an Activities Assistant to bring joy, purpose, and connection to our residents. You’ll help lead daily activities, plan enrichment programs, and support participation, while coordinating calendars and newsletters.

You will escort residents to programs, maintain organized spaces, support volunteers, and document participation per regulatory guidelines. The role requires a high school diploma, strong communication, and the ability to lead small

Qualifications

• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to lead small group activities.
• Valid driver’s license may be required.
• Senior living experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in leading daily activities, events, and enrichment programs.
• Encourage and support resident participation.
• Help prepare activity calendars and newsletters.
• Escort residents to and from programs as needed.
• Maintain organized activity spaces and supplies.
• Support volunteer engagement and community partnerships.
• Document participation per regulatory guidelines.
• Monitor resident engagement and communicate changes appropriately.
