Qualifications

• Must be a high school graduate or equivalent.
• Prior experience with geriatrics preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, developing, organizing, implementing, and evaluating activity programs.
• Chart patient progress and behavior in records.
• Escort patients to and from activities.
• Visit patients in their rooms when they cannot participate in group activities.
• Demonstrate excellent customer service and a positive attitude toward patients.
• Aid in evacuation of patients.
• Maintain regular attendance.
• Communicate effectively on an interdisciplinary team.
• Sit, stand, bend, lift, push, pull, reach as required.
• Read, write, speak, and understand English.
