Job summary

Advinia Care Salem is seeking a compassionate Activities Assistant to enhance residents' quality of life through planning and coordinating engaging activities and social events. The role supports cognitive stimulation and community involvement for seniors in a Salem, MA setting.

The position requires a High School Diploma or equivalent, CPR certification, and prior long-term care experience is preferred. A rotating schedule including some holidays and weekends is expected.

Responsibilities

• Encourage and assist residents in functional, social, and recreational activities under the direction of the Activity Director.

• Maintain a clean and safe environment for all residents in your care.
• Assist in planning and coordinating activities, social events, and group activities.
• Engage residents in various cognitive activities, such as puzzles, games, and arts and crafts.
