Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Longmont, CO is seeking an Activities Assistant to support resident life across Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care communities. This on-site role is full-time with a $20/hour pay rate and non-exempt status.

The position emphasizes developing engaging, resident-centered activity programs, coordinating events, and collaborating with Life Enrichment staff to meet residents’ needs while adhering to policies and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Ability to engage residents with different interests and abilities.
• Computer skills and adaptability to new technology.

Responsibilities

• Assist in organizing programs for Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care activities.
• Coordinate group activities, 1-1 visits, and community events.
• Communicate programs to residents, families, volunteers and staff.
• Maintain activity calendars reflecting residents' interests and schedules.
• Organize supplies and prep materials for Life Enrichment activities.
