Job summary

MorningStar Senior Living in Pasadena is seeking an Activities Assistant to support Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care residents through group and individual activities.

You will help plan vibrant Life Enrichment calendars, organize supplies, coordinate with other departments, and ensure safety and compliance while delivering compassionate, person-centered care. This is a full-time role with Tue-Sat and pay of $20–$21 per hour; non-exempt with benefits and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Education: minimum high school diploma or GED.
• Awareness of wellness needs for older adults and ability to engage residents with different interests.
• Must have a clean driving record.

Responsibilities

• Assist in developing the resident activity programs for Independent Living, Assisted Living and Memory Care.
• Organize group activities, 1-1 visits, and community events involving residents, families and staff.
• Prepare monthly Life Enrichment calendars reflecting residents' interests and abilities.
• Coordinate activities with other departments and communicate programs to residents and families.
• Maintain supplies and report progress of activity programs as directed.
