Job summary

Hcshiring is seeking an Activities Coordinator to enhance resident life at our Greer, SC facility. The role focuses on creating engaging daily and weekly programs, coordinating with families and staff, and maintaining a thriving, inclusive community for older adults.

The candidate will communicate effectively, organize schedules, and support wellness initiatives, with flexibility for weekends/holidays as required to meet resident needs.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication, organization, and time management skills.
• Basic typing skills and computer knowledge (MS Word, etc.).
• Two years of full-time experience in recreation with older adult populations (preferred).
• Associate degree in recreation or related field or equivalent college coursework.

Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding services to residents, families, and visitors.
• Communicate verbally and in writing with team members, families, and residents.
• Develop and schedule monthly, weekly, and daily activity plans in advance; adapt as needed.
• Assist with programming and campus wellness activities as directed by supervisor.
• Coordinate with the community team to organize events and programs for residents.
