Job summary

Sprenger Health Care in Port Royal, SC is seeking a dedicated activities coordinator for resident programs. The role requires a high school diploma (or college degree in Recreation, Gerontology, Nursing, or related field) and 2+ years of patient activities experience in health care, or active pursuit toward a related degree with a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or college degree in related field.
• At least 2 years of experience in a patient activities program in a health care setting, or enrollment in related degree with valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Facilitate group programs in a timely and efficient manner.
• Assist in transporting residents to and from activities.
• Assist with planning and leadership of recreation programs.
• Promote facility programs to residents, staff, family and volunteers.

Education
