Responsibilities

• Support QAPI initiatives and complete assigned roles and responsibilities.
• Provide excellent customer service with a focus on person-centered care.
• Adhere to the organization's mission and care policies.
• Lead activities for all residents in the assigned unit.
• Keep bulletin boards neat and updated to attract residents to activities.
• Maintain seasonal decorations to brighten corridors and public areas.
• Maintain attendance records for activities.
• Assist with ongoing person-centered evaluations for residents.
• Complete documentation and care plans for assigned residents.
• Assist with recruiting, training and recognizing volunteers.
• Support ambience enhancements in common areas and corridors.
• Assist with monthly calendar and center newsletters.
• Lead individual and group activities based on resident cognition.
• Transport residents to activities.
• Attend care plan conferences as assigned.
• Drive the facility vehicle for activities away from the center.
• Complete 12 hours of continuing education annually (if certified).
• Report abuse or misappropriation of resident property as required.
