Job summary

The Villages of Indiana in Columbus, OH is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to help plan and execute activities that benefit residents in a senior life connections community.

The role requires 1–3 years of related experience, a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays, and a compassionate approach to senior care. You will work with the Life Enrichment Director to support programming and daily operations.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration with a team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, communication, and execution of activities and life skills.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Lead with administrative tasks.
• Complete all tasks while maintaining resident safety.
• Support setup, cleanup, and upkeep of activity areas and spaces.
• Support transportation by coordinating outings and related tasks and upholding safety practices.
• Adhere to standards in the Employee Handbook.
