Job summary

The Villages of Indiana in Avon, IN is seeking a Life Enrichment Assistant to plan and deliver enriching activities for our residents. This part-time role requires a compassionate, team-oriented individual who can work a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities include supporting the Life Enrichment Director, coordinating programs, handling some administrative tasks, and ensuring resident safety and engagement across community spaces.

Qualifications

• Minimum one to three years related experience and/or training preferred.
• Must be able to work a flexible schedule, which may include evenings, weekends, and holiday hours.
• Compassionate towards the senior population.
• Ability to work independently and in collaboration of team.

Responsibilities

• Actively support our 1440 culture and pillars.
• Assist the Life Enrichment Director with planning, communication, and execution of activities in Life Enrichment.
• Support the Life Enrichment Director and Lead with administrative tasks as needed.
• Complete all tasks while maintaining resident safety.
• Set up, clean up, and upkeep of activity areas and spaces.
• Assist transportation by coordinating outings and related administrative tasks.
• Uphold all standards in the Employee Handbook.
