Job summary

Collierville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, coordinate, and evaluate resident activities and encourage participation in programs. The role includes escorting residents on activities, assisting with trip registrations, and maintaining supplies under the Resident Program Director's direction.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED (or equivalent)
• 6 months to 1 year experience in activity-related duties
• Ability to lead in the activities dept when the Activities Director is absent
• Ability to work with residents with cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities
• Encourage resident participation in programs and activities
• Escort residents on off-site activities as needed
• Assist with registration for trips and programs
• Maintain activity supplies and assist with budget guidance
• Provide positive, professional interaction with residents, visitors and staff
