Job summary

Collierville Health and Rehabilitation is seeking an Activities Assistant to support resident activities, coordinate events, and assist with trips. You will engage residents, encourage participation, and help with registrations, while maintaining supplies and adhering to budget guidelines.

Qualifications

• Six months to one year experience in activity-related duties.
• Ability to lead in the Activities Director's absence.
• Ability to work with residents with cognitive, physical or sensory disabilities.
• May require consistent travel to sites.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating, and evaluating resident activities.
• Encourage resident participation in programs and activities.
• Escort residents on activities away from the property as assigned.
• Assist with the registration of residents for trips and programs.
• Maintain necessary activity supplies, which may include outside purchasing.
• Follow departmental budget guidelines and attend required trainings.
