Job summary

Oakmont Management Group operates Oakmont of Burlingame, a premier senior living community in Burlingame, CA. The Activity Assistant will help organize, schedule, promote and direct engaging activities that enhance residents' independence and quality of life.

The role emphasizes teamwork, safety, and compassionate interaction with residents, families, and staff; driving community vehicles may be required to support excursions and events.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Prefer one year experience coordinating activities with seniors.
• Class C license with Passenger Endorsement preferred.
• Proficient in MS Office programs (Word, Excel, Publisher, PowerPoint).
• Criminal Background check and health screening required.
• COVID-19 safety protocols may apply per regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Activity Director in delivering a engaging social atmosphere and programs.
• Develop, recruit, manage and schedule Community Volunteers.
• Communicate effectively with residents, families and staff.
• Maintain a safe environment following established safety standards.
• Able to drive Community vehicles and support excursions.
