Job summary

Eastbrook Healthcare Center in Cleveland, OH is seeking an Activities Assistant to support residents with a variety of recreational and social programs. The role can be part-time or full-time and requires creativity, a positive attitude, and a passion for helping others stay engaged.

You will assist in planning crafts, games, fitness classes, and special events; help set up spaces; monitor safety; and work with the Activities Coordinator to evaluate and improve offerings.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and implement recreational activities including arts and crafts, games, fitness classes, and events.
• Engage residents to encourage participation and foster a positive environment.
• Set up and take down activity spaces, keeping areas clean and organized.
• Provide support during activities to ensure safety and enjoyment.
• Collaborate with the Activities Coordinator to evaluate activities and suggest improvements.
• Maintain inventory of supplies and assist with restocking.
• Document participation and gather resident feedback to enhance programs.
