Birch Bay Village in Bar Harbor, ME is seeking an Activities Assistant to plan, organize, and lead recreational and enrichment activities for residents of our senior living community. You will coordinate transportation, outings, and special events, partnering with team members to create a vibrant, safe, and engaging environment.

The role emphasizes excellent communication, empathy, and creativity to enhance residents' quality of life.

Qualifications

• Two or more years experience in medical and/or geriatric services.
• Able to provide direct assistance to residents when necessary.
• Familiarity with memory loss.
• BLS within 120 days of hire, Current Maine Driver's License.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, and lead a variety of recreational and enrichment activities for residents.
• Assist with transportation, community outings, and special events to enhance quality of life.
