Job summary

The Pavilion at Piketon is seeking an Activities Assistant to support planning, organizing, and evaluating engaging programs for residents. You will help create accessible monthly calendars, coordinate activities, and assist with transportation as needed.

The role emphasizes documentation of attendance and resident responses, collaboration with the Activities Director, and contributing to a positive, compassionate environment in a skilled nursing setting.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Must be able to successfully pass background check.

Responsibilities

• Plan, organize, implement and evaluate recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs as directed.
• Create a monthly calendar of activities and post it in a prominent location.
• Coordinate resident participation and assist with transportation to activities.
• Document attendance and chart progress notes describing resident responses.
• Monitor resident mood and engagement and report changes to the Activities Director.
• Assist with in-room activities and one-on-one visits when needed.
• Coordinate offsite field trips and interdepartmental activity requests.
