Job summary

The Pavilion at Kenton in Covington, KY is seeking an Activities Assistant to help plan, organize, and run a wide range of resident activities in line with care plans. You will support monthly calendars, engagement, and transport coordination, while documenting attendance and resident responses.

This role requires a high school diploma and the ability to pass a background check. Multiple shifts available with a friendly, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Candidate must pass a background check.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, organizing, implementing, and evaluating recreational, social, intellectual, emotional and spiritual programs per facility policy and care plans.
• Help create a monthly calendar of activities and display it prominently.
• Interview residents or families to understand activity preferences.
• Coordinate resident transportation to activity locations within the facility.
• Assist with in-room activities and one-on-one visits when needed.
• Document attendance and progress notes for activities.
• Monitor resident mood and participation and report changes to the Activities Director.
• Assist with offsite field trips and transportation arrangements.
