Sight & Sound Brand in Branson, Missouri seeks a Senior Show Automation Technician to support, operate, and maintain complex automation, rigging, media, networking, and special effects systems in a fast-paced live performance environment.

You will lead by example, mentor junior technicians, and collaborate across rigging, automation, media, projection, and lighting to ensure safe, seamless cue execution and show continuity.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in live entertainment or theatrical technical production.
• 5+ years in automation/show control roles.
• Proficient in scripting for show control (Lua, Python, C++).
• Strong knowledge of rigging safety procedures.
• Experience with networked control systems and IP-based protocols.
• Willingness to work nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsabilités

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot show-critical systems during performances.
• Serve as primary automation console operator during live shows.
• Execute complex automation cues with precision and safety.
• Lead real-time troubleshooting to minimize downtime and maintain cue integrity.
• Mentor junior technicians and coordinate with departments.
• Document cue sheets and maintenance logs.
