Everforth Apex is seeking a Sr. Live Events & Broadcast Engineer (EIC) to own technical readiness for high‑profile live and hybrid events in San Francisco.

You will lead rehearsals, troubleshoot complex video/audio/network issues, and coordinate with AV Engineering, Network, and vendors to ensure seamless production delivery. Qualifications

• Seven or more years in live-event, broadcast, production engineering, or comparable enterprise event-AV operations.
• Proven calm show-day leadership, rehearsal ownership, and incident command abilities.
• Experience troubleshooting production video routing, timing, and streaming workflows.
• Strong knowledge of AV-over-IP and networking (NDI, Q-LAN, SRT, RTMP, multicast) and QoS.
• Ability to enforce standards, maintain runbooks, mentor technicians, and manage vendor escalations.

Responsibilities

• Own operational readiness for live and hybrid events, confirm signal paths and supply readiness.
• Provide hands-on engineering support during rehearsals and shows, diagnose complex issues across video, audio, and networking.
• Lead technical escalations, coordinate AV-Engineering, Network teams, and vendors to isolate faults and recover.
• Create and maintain runbooks, signal-flow docs, and post-event findings to prevent recurrence.
