Job summary
Apple Inc. seeks an AV & Broadcast Engineer to lead live events and broadcast productions within its IS&T Services Multimedia and Events team.
You will design, support, and operate broadcast and event systems for executive presentations and studio productions, performing roles from audio engineer to technical director to ensure flawless delivery. The role requires deep AV infrastructure expertise, strong collaboration with stakeholders, and the ability to work under pressure in high-visibility
Qualifications
- BS Degree in Computer Science, or other Engineering fields, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years experience in broadcast engineering, AV engineering, and live event production.
- 5+ years expertise supporting live broadcast environments including streaming, switching, and audio engineering with proficiency in production switchers such as Blackmagic ATEM or Sony MVS.
Responsibilities
- Leading stakeholder meetings to scope technical requirements for live events, town halls, and executive broadcasts.
- Designing and operating broadcast systems supporting live and hybrid events across Apple TV, Apple Music, and Services organizations.
- Identifying opportunities to improve broadcast infrastructure, workflows, and event reliability.
- Serving as a technical supervisor and lead broadcast engineer for live in-person and streaming events, including town halls, executive interviews, and table reads.
- Managing live event broadcast operations including rehearsal support, show execution, and troubleshooting.
- Supporting live production workflows including audio engineering, camera operations, video switching, and streaming systems.
- Performing all live event technical roles including audio engineering, camera operation, mixing, and streaming engineering.
- Engineering and maintaining conference room AV infrastructure including Cisco and Crestron environments.
