Job summary

AVI-SPL in Seattle, WA is seeking a Senior Event Production Technician to design, set up and support onsite and hybrid events for a global technology client. You will lead technical strategy, ensure flawless operation of video equipment, and collaborate with the team to optimize control room setups.

You will oversee production elements including video playback, streaming, lighting, audio, robotic cameras, and virtual platforms, while mentoring junior technicians and delivering high-quality

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in live event production, event coordination, broadcast, and video production.
• 1+ years of experience in onsite, virtual, and hybrid live events; scheduling management.
• Studio production and event experience.
• Experience with control room equipment including video switchers, audio consoles, robotic cameras, and video playback software.
• Knowledge of virtual production and meeting platforms.
• Detail-oriented, organized, flexible, and able to work in a team and independently.
• Strong communication under pressure and customer-focused service.

Responsibilities

• Provide technical consultation on production design of live event experiences with video, audio, lighting, and presentation.
• Meet with client teams to understand event scope and provide strategy to meet requirements.
• Coordinate technical production needs for all events and ensure compliance with policies.
• Facilitate equipment rental and other production requirements.
• Oversee facility quality checks and asset optimization before production.
• Assist with presenter preparation and rehearsals.
• Oversee postproduction needs including basic edits and delivery of recordings.
