Latham & Watkins seeks a Litigation Services Supervising Attorney in Texas, located in Austin or Houston, with a flexible hybrid schedule. The role oversees day-to-day operations of the Texas Litigation Services teams and leads hiring, training, and salary/bonus decisions.

Ideal candidates bring strong litigation support leadership, mastery of court rules, and excellent communication skills to drive efficiency across the firm.

Qualifications

• J.D. degree from an ABA‑accredited law school.
• Current bar admission in the state of practice or main jurisdiction.
• Minimum five years in a Litigation Services role; three years as a Litigation Associate and/or court employee may be considered.
• Minimum two years of supervisory experience, preferably in litigation.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day‑to‑day operations of the Texas Litigation Services teams.
• Develop and supervise the Texas Litigation Services team, including hiring, assignment, training, evaluation, and salary/bonus recommendations.
• Utilize legal research platforms to support strategic legal analysis and procedural guidance.
• Ensure calendaring and deadlines are calculated correctly and filings are completed in all formats.
• Protect confidential and privileged information retained by the firm.
• Collaborate with the Litigation Services Managing Attorney and attorneys across the practice.
